We finish off the fruit of the spirit series this week by reviewing what we have learnt. Here’s the video we’ll be using on this week’s playlist; a reading of Maybe God Is Like That Too by Jennifer Grant.

Recap Activities

Code Breaker

The two activities on this worksheet use the same key - a simple one for the fruit of the spirit and a more challenging one for the memory verses.

Colouring sheet

Matching Game

Either print this sheet and cut it up for the children to match the cards, or write the fruit of the spirit on post-it notes around the room/garden for them to run to, and read out the clues. For a challenge only read out the bold text as your clue!!

  • “Who can remember which fruit Treat others as you want them to treat you was for?

  • “Which fruit had a memory verse from Nehemiah 8:10?”

  • “Which fruit was Ruth an example of?”

We hope your family has enjoyed learning together about the fruit that grows when we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Stick with us during July as we explore the conditions that help fruit to grow.

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is cut off from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.”
