Shoebox Sunday Update
This year’s Shoebox Sunday looks a little different!
Due to unexpected emergency repairs taking place at Canterbury Academy, we won’t be able to gather there this Sunday (16th November) for our morning service. However, we still want to make sure every shoebox reaches a child in need, so we’ve made a simple plan to keep things running smoothly.
If you’ve prepared a shoebox, please bring it to The City Church Hub & Office (34A Simmons Road, Wincheap, Canterbury, CT1 3RA) by 11am on Monday 17th November, when the van will collect them for Operation Christmas Child.
- Wed 12 – Fri 14 Nov: 10am – 4pm
- Sat 15 Nov: 8 – 9am (during the prayer meeting)
- Mon 17 Nov: 9 – 11am (collection day)
Take part in bringing Good News and great joy to children around the world
We love taking part in Samaritan's Purse Shoebox appeal, where we pack shoeboxes full of toys and goodies to be shipped around the world to underprivileged children.
We have plenty of boxes at our morning Sunday service you can use which you'll find on a table by the entrance/exit doors, along with a flyer with further information.
